A bright garnet coloured Merlot with a complex bouquet of smoky oak, spice box, earth, black cherry and dark plum. A full-bodied wine with firm but not aggressive tannins, and flavours of dark plum and black cherry complemented by sweet spice and oak. The extra-dry finish lingers with notes of tangy dark fruits, sweet spice, and oak.

WINEMAKING
Merlot (100%) was harvested from the Similkameen Valley over several beautiful days in October 2020. The wine was aged in new and one-year-old French oak barrels for 18 months. Each vineyard site was barreled separately, after which the best barrels were selected and blended according to structure, fruit concentration, mouthfeel, and potential age worthiness. The wines were then bottled in August of 2022.
