A wonderful sipping wine for spring and summer entertaining. Harvested from vineyards throughout the Okanagan Valley, this dry rosé blend features Gamay Noir, Cabernet Franc complemented by crisp Riesling and smooth Pinot Gris.
Coral pink in colour, serve with salad niçoise, gazpacho, smoked salmon, summer salads and shellfish. A smooth yet refreshing rose with flavours of red berry, cherry and watermelon.
Winemaking
Harvested from vineyards throughout the Okanagan Valley. The Gamay Noir (47%) and Cabernet Franc (7%) were given extended skin contact for a lovely pink colour, while the white varietals, Riesling (15%) and Pinot Gris (6%), were gently pressed for pure fruit expression. [A few other varietals were used to enhance aromatics]. The final blend was created post-fermentation and aged in stainless steel tanks to further enhance aromatics and flavours.
Characteristics
A coral pink coloured rosé with a lovely aroma of cherry, peach, watermelon, and crab apple. A light to medium-bodied, smooth yet refreshing, medium-dry rosé with flavours of red berry, peach, and melon, which also linger on the finish with an added note of refreshing pink grapefruit.
